I tried not to watch Glee. I really did. I put up an actual effort. But then I saw part of an episode by chance and BAM I got totally hooked, as I knew I would.

I am pretty much obsessed now. But what else is new? Anything that involves music has me in puddle of goo.



And Finn needs to get in me, just saying.

So I met this guy. He is... omg he's so cute and funny and I have such a crush. Talking with him has put me in such a deliriously good mood. 

I just...  life just feels so good right now. 


And now I must ruin it with homework. 

 I feel like I haven't updated in so long. 

It has been sooo crazy these past couple days, I just feel like I need to take a minute to breathe. I'm all moved into my dorm room, and my roommate got here yesterday and I think we got down all the logistics of everything. It's so weird to think that I'll be living here for the next year. I mean, this room is so tiny, it's kinda crazy. There's a pretty view of the lagoon out my window, though, and the beds are situated so that it's cozy and not really cramped, but it's still odd. 

Of course I'm a little homesick, but I think I'm handling everything ok for the most part. I think once classes start, it'll be much easier to get into the swing of things. As it is right now, there are just sooooo many new people that it's a bit overwhelming trying to take everything in. 

But anyway. I'm having fun, and the campus is beautiful and I have absolutely nothing to complain about. Plus, Kris Allen's new single premiered this morning and it's completely fabulous so that's enough to put me in a good mood =).

My last day in Santa Cruz.

Excited to take off, but still feeling a little depressed as I walk around my house for one of the last times.

 So I just found out who my roommate is for UCSB!! We exchanged facebooks and she seems really chill so far and I think it's going to be fun. This is a good first step because I was so totally worried that I would get a weirdo. So she seems normal enough so far so yay for me!! 

Ahh it's starting to feel so real right about now, and even though I still have three more weeks it feels like no time at all. I'm a little nervous, not even gonna lie, but I think that's normal lol. I just want everything to go smoothly, ya know? But I'm totally ready to leave. Almost all of my friends are gone already and I'm sooo bored of just sitting around and working. If I didn't have my computer and internet right now I would legit die. 

So yeah. Phew!! Starting a life is taking a lot of energy outta me and I haven't even really started yet! 

Saw Inglorious Bastards last night. Wasn't aware that it was a Quentin Tarantino movie, so that was my first mistake. Needless to say, I did not go into the cinema prepared. 

Freaking brutal, man. I am squeamish on the best of days, so I can tell you right now that I did not appreciate seeing some guy getting his head beaten in with a bat. And I could've done without the scalping. And the close-range machine gun fire. And the face-carving. .. I could go on. 

However, it was really funny. In a totally dark way. Which, it being Tarantino, isn't surprising. My emotions got all confused and kept conflicting with each other and this was pretty much my reaction to everything throughout the entire movie:

Anywhoooo, it was actually really good, and Brad Pitt was hilarious, I just always have a really hard time seeing past the blood when it comes to these things LOL. I could never be a doctor. Ever.

 Just got back from seeing (500) Days of Summer. So so so adorable and funny and cute and omg amazing. Just go and see it. Trust me. 

Plus I can't even believe that it took me this long to discover Joseph Gordon-Levitt because waaaaaaaaat he's totally gorgeous.

I seriously hate my life right now. 

 I know I haven't been posting much... mostly because I don't have a lot of time, and the time that I do have is spent sleeping and catching up on things that I shouldn't have been getting behind on in the first place. 
But I did have some pretty empty days the past week, and I've been bored outta my mind, so I wrote a little drabble and put it up on TeenInk, and I decided to post it here too, just because. 
I'm really just happy because I've been dry for so long and I'm finally getting back into the swing of things. So anyway, here it is if you wanna check it out... Really not so great, but whatever.

In other news: finally saw Harry Potter. Not gonna post a full-on review because I don't have the patience, but I will say that the cinematography was gorgeous and I thought it was pretty well done as a whole,  best movie yet, (even though it was wayyy long). I still don't really care for Daniel Radcliffe, but whatevs. Tom Felton cancels him out with his epic brilliance.

 Back from Canada. Feeling kinda sad in a way. But it was tons and tons of fun and I can't wait for the chance to go back to Vancouver because that city was so full of life I felt like I could burst from the energy of it. 

Now all I gotta do is work on getting the Canadian accent outta my system, eh? lol I pick these things up too easily 

Harry Potter on Thursday finally! It has to be some kind of blasphemy that I haven't seen it yet.

Leaving early tomorrow morning for Canada!! I'm so excited to see all my family up there because I only get to chill with them once a year and I miss them so much! We're heading through Vancouver which should be a lot of fun because I've never actually got the chance to really check out that city and I know it will be super cool. Anyway, I'm totally stoked cause this is like my only vacation this summer. Plus I get two weeks off from work! Yayy! My boss isn't very happy bout it but he can suck it. I'm not working there for that much longer anyway. 


I have a book recommendation for you all. I just finished reading The Mortal Instruments, which is a trilogy by Cassandra Clare, and it was SO GOOD. It's kinda a fantasy type thing with demons and faeries and magic and stuff, so if you're not into that, then it might not be a first choice, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. And it had plenty of romance in it, which is like a must on my list haha. 
I will say that if you're a fan of Libba Bray, then you will probably really like it. Her and Clare are pretty good friends and their books hold a similar writing style, with the same kind of dry, sarcastic humor which I LOVE. 

Anywho, if you're interested in checking it out, the trilogy is called The Mortal Instruments, and the first book is called City of Bones. 

Gah, wish I had time to write more, but I gotta go pack, because of course I have to leave everything for the last minute. I know I'll end up bringing way too much stuff anyway, but better safe than sorry I suppose.

oh P.S. Harry Potter comes out on Wednesday!!! So excited!! I'm hoping I can find a theatre up in Whistler because I totally need to see it as soon as possible. Can't wait!!! =D

 Just got back from my orientation at UCSB. I am so exhausted, but it was a freaking BLAST. I cannot even express how excited I am for college. It's gonna be so amazing!!! The atmosphere just feels so great and I know that I'm going to have a lot of fun. 
Like even with the academics part of it. My first quarter I'm taking anthropology, philosophy, and astronomy. How cool do those classes sound? Plus, astronomy counts toward my math credit, so hell yeah! Pretty much stoked on life with that one. 

Ugh. But I really am so tired, so must get some rest. So. Tired. Need. Sleep. 

I'll prolly post more tomorrow when I'm more awake. =)

Oh P.S: Saw Adventureland. Pretty much hilarious on all levels. I am totally crushing on Jesse Eisenberg right now. And Ryan Reynolds too, but duh. So anyway, see it. Twas a good time.

 Phew!!! So finally I'm all done with high school (woot!) and it's officially summer!!! YESSSS!!!

Graduation was a BLAST. I the whole day I couldn't even believe what was happening, it was so crazy. I was pretty much on a high the whole time. Our school had a pretty epic grad night, too. Our theme was ~iTunes playlist~ and there was a whole bunch of stuff set up. We could dress up and film music videos on a green screen or get our make-up and hair done. There was a tattoo and henna station too. I got the Eye of Horus on my wrist, and it looked really sick, but it came off like two hours later when I was in the bounce house and it started to rain. (RAIN! IN JUNE! OF COURSE!)

They had a casino station set up as well, but I didn't do that. I was never that good at cards. I did get a massage tho, and that was amazing. I have to start getting those more often. I wonder how expensive they are... 

Anyway it was pretty cool because I won 60 dollars in iTunes, so that'll last me a while, and encourage me to stop stealing songs from other sites lol. 

It was kinda sad at the end tho, because everyone started realizing that it was the last time that we were gonna be all together. I'm not gonna lie, I cried so much with my best friend, because we're going to be eight hours away from each other next year, and even though we'll still see each other, it's still going to be so different. 
But we still have the summer, so I'm going to make the most of it!

Oooh and also, in other news, I got a kitten!!!! He's sooooo cute. His name is Eddie and he's completely precious. So I added some pics of him too lol. Just because he's too cute not to.

I'm off to sleep now because I've got this raging headache. So not fun. I have to remind myself to drink more.

 Ok, you guys. I haven't posted in days, and I know I haven't replied to almost any of the posts on my flist in the past week or so. 
I apologize!!!! It's just been so freaking busy.

I GRADUATE TOMORROW!!! I can't believe it. OMG. 

So anyway, I'm not ignoring you all, I just haven't had the chance to sit down and relax. I will be able to after tomorrow. WHEN I'M NO LONGER IN HIGH SCHOOL.
